DGD Scholarships

With the financial support of the Belgian Directorate for Development Co-operation (DGD), ITM offers a number of fellowships to applicants from developing countries. Admission to a program/course is a prerequisite for, but not a guarantee of, a scholarship.

Other scholarships

The ITM officially collaborates with the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP). Applicants to Master’s programs from member countries of the World Bank are eligible for these scholarships.

ITM annually negotiates partial scholarships for applicants from the European Union (on average 10 per annum). These scholarships can cover up to 80% of tuition and registration fees. Applicants to Master’s programs and short courses are both eligible. Depending on the availability of funds, non-European students may also be eligible for these partial scholarships.

Yearly a limited number of fellowships for doctoral studies is awarded. These are financed from ITM's own funds with additional support from the DGD and other sponsors.

An optional tuition fee supplement for the Master’s programs provides a subsidized portable computer with wireless technology. This is an initiative of the ITM to promote ICT compatibility between students and with the institute's hotspots and e-environment. All ITM fellowships cover this supplemental fee and we recommend other funding agencies to do the same. The computer will remain the student's property.

Note:

For all ITM fellowships (for both applicants from developing countries and EU countries), the funding application must always be included with the course application form. It cannot be submitted separately at a later stage.

Additional information is available from the ITM Student Service.
