India Leadership and Innovation Scholarships in UK for Master


Newcastle University is delighted to announce the Newcastle – India Leadership and Innovation Scholarship for the 2025/26 academic year. This prestigious scholarship is designed to support talented Indian students who exhibit exceptional academic performance, leadership qualities, and a strong commitment to innovation.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be domiciled in India and classified as international students for fee purposes. They must hold an offer to study a full-time, one-year master’s programme at Newcastle University’s city centre campus for the 2025/26 academic year. Candidates should have, or expect to achieve, the equivalent of a UK first-class Honours degree.

India Leadership and Innovation Scholarships in UK for Master Founded in 1963, Newcastle University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Newcastle upon Tyne (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), North East England. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Newcastle University is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Newcastle University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: India

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any eligible Master’s programme offered by Newcastle University at the Newcastle city centre campus.

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Be domiciled in India.

    • Be assessed as an international student for fee purposes.

    • Hold an offer for an eligible, full-time, one-year master’s degree programme at Newcastle University’s city centre campus for the 2025/26 academic year.

    • Have or expect to receive the equivalent of a first-class UK Honours degree.

    • Demonstrate academic excellence, commitment to studies, and provide strong evidence of leadership and innovation through extracurricular activities, student organizations, sports, community service, or professional experience.
