Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Anas M Tannir Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010
- Hold an offer of admission from Imperial College London for a full-time three-year or four-year undergraduate course commencing in October 2024
- Demonstrate exceptional academic merit and/or potential
Examples of eligible disabilities include but are not limited to:
- Physical impairment
- Vision impairment/Blindness
- Hearing impairment/Deafness
- Specific Learning Difficulties (e.g., Dyslexia, Dyspraxia)
- Learning or intellectual disabilities
- Neurodivergence or neurological disorders
Applicants must provide evidence confirming their disability. Please note that this scholarship is not available to continuing students.
Application Process
To apply for the Anas M Tannir Scholarship, follow these steps:
- Apply and receive an offer of admission from Imperial College London for a full-time three or four-year undergraduate course commencing in October 2024 by 11:59 pm (UK local time) on Friday, April 19, 2024.
- Complete the scholarship application form by 11:59 pm (UK local time) on Friday, April 19, 2024.
- Applicants will be ranked based on their UCAS application and academic merit and/or potential. The successful candidate will be asked to confidentially provide evidence confirming their disability.
- The successful candidate will be notified by July 31, 2024.
