IEI Bridge International Scholarships at University of Maine, USA for Bachelor Founded in 1865, The University of Maine is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the medium-sized town of Orono (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Maine. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, The University of Maine (UMAINE) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. The University of Maine (UMAINE) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 154 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 90-100% making this US higher education organization a least selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To apply for this scholarship, students must apply to either an undergraduate or graduate program at the University via UMaine Mobile Friendly Application, ApplyMaine Application, The Common App. Applicants are considered for this scholarship when their application for admission is reviewed.
  • Supporting Documents: Submit Declaration of Finances, Financial Document or Bank Statement, a copy of your passport photo page.
  •  Admission Requirements: Aspirants must be graduating high school students (regardless of the number of college credits taken while in high school) or a high school graduate or GED recipient who has attempted fewer than 12 college credits after graduation and is applying to a four-year bachelor’s degree program
  • Language Requirement: All applicants must submit an official English language proficiency exam score to UMaine by the testing agency.
