Idaho State University Scholarships for International Students in USA for Bachelor Established in 1949, Shanghai International Studies University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Shanghai (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Education of The People's Republic of China, Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 69 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to all international students
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: All subjects offered by Idaho State University
  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
    • Minimum GPA of 3.5 for initial review or consideration
    • Additional criteria may apply depending on the availability of NRTWs
    • Exclusions for students in non-traditional Pharmacy Program and other over-subscribed programs
    • Time accrued in NRTW programs does not count towards gaining Idaho residency
    • Strong competition at both undergraduate and graduate levels
    • Preparedness to cover approximately $14,000 per semester if the waiver is not awarded.

Application Process

  • Step 1: APPLY
    • Submit a completed application for admission by the following deadlines:
      • Fall entry: July 1st
      • Spring entry: November 1st
    • International students must include official TOEFL or IELTS scores and transcripts.
    • Application for admission serves as the Nonresident Tuition Waiver Application.
  • Step 2: HONORS
    • If applicable, complete the Honors Application. Visit the university’s website for eligibility and deadline details.
  • Step 3: BOSS
    • Apply for additional scholarships through the Bengal Online Scholarship System (BOSS).
    • Access BOSS starting January for fall admittance or October for spring admittance.
