The University of Surrey was established on 9 September 1966 with the grant of its Royal Charter, but its roots go back to a late 19th-century concern to provide greater access to further and higher education for the poorer inhabitants of London.

ICE International scholarships at University of Surrey, UK Founded in 1966, University of Surrey is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Guildford (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), South East England. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Surrey is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Surrey offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 53 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

  • Eligible Countries: Applications are accepted from around the world.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in BEng/ MEng Civil Engineering industry offered by the university.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria: 
  • Applicants must be international students.
  • Students must be enrolling in Civil Engineering BEng (Hons) or MEng course.

Offered Benefits

The university will provide a bursary worth almost £2,000 with salaried training in each year of study and give a chance to integrate industrial training into academic study and a fast-track route to employment upon graduation and chartered engineer status.
