ICAT Fellowships for International Students in Ireland Established in 1854, University College Dublin is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the medium-sized city of Dublin (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), County Dublin. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Skills, Ireland, University College Dublin (UCD) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University College Dublin (UCD) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All international, as well as domestic students, are eligible to apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply for study programmes in medical and dental, and veterinary.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:

Application Process

  • How to Apply: The applicants are first required to submit a pre-application form which will lead them to the application process. All eligible students will be considered automatically.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:

  • Two references
  • Past academic achievements
  • Personal statement
  • Research project
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must have an MVB or equivalent veterinary degree or a relevant specialist (European Board of Veterinary Specialisation (EBVS), American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA)) training programme or equivalent.
  • Language Requirement: The students must meet the language requirements of their partner universities. TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, etc are widely accepted standardized language tests.
