Huawei Tech4Her Scholarships for International Students in Ireland for Master Established in 1992, University of Sunderland is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Sunderland (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), North East England. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Sunderland is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Sunderland offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 27 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All Irish nationals and overseas students are eligible to apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: The candidates can apply for the teaching position at TU Dublin.

Offered Benefits

The winning candidates will be awarded a financial award of €3,000 each and the opportunity to engage with employees from Huawei to learn about career paths and skills for work in the tech sector by TU Dublin.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: The teaching application form must be submitted separately. All eligible candidates will be considered.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to prepare a personal essay addressing the following:
  • their passion for technology and interest in pursuing a career in the IT/Tech sector, including the role they hope to secure on graduation
  • their career to date, including challenges overcome
  • how they will support and encourage other females in the tech sector
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must have attained an MSc or MSc in computer science.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
