The Embassy of France in Canada, in partnership with Campus France, invites international students (excluding French citizens) for the 2026 High-Level Scientific Fellowships. This programme offers PhD students and early-career postdoctoral researchers based at Canadian universities the opportunity to undertake a 2-month research mobility in France.
Applicants must be PhD students or early-career postdoctoral researchers (within 0–5 years after PhD) currently working at a university in Canada (excluding Quebec). Candidates must not hold French citizenship, must be conducting research in one of the eligible priority themes, and must have a confirmed French host institution or researcher for their 2-month research stay in France.
The Embassy of France is France’s official diplomatic mission abroad, working to strengthen international cooperation and bilateral relations. It actively supports initiatives in education, research, innovation, culture, and scientific collaboration, promoting academic exchange and fostering partnerships between French institutions and global research communities.
