The High Achievers Scholarship rewards eligible prospective students joining an Edge Hill University full-time undergraduate degree or full-time foundation degree in academic year 2016/17.

High Achievers Scholarship - Edge Hill University for Bachelor Founded in 2006, Edge Hill University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the medium-sized town of Ormskirk (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), North East England. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Aintree, Chorley, Manchester. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Edge Hill University is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Edge Hill University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 13 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a High Achievers Scholarship in academic year 2016/17, you must:

  • Attain at least 360 UCAS Tariff points (AAA at A Level, DDD in BTEC). This must be from a maximum of three A Level (or equivalent) grades taken and achieved in one sitting and, for entry in 2016, awarded from 1st September 2013 onwards.  A combination of suitable A Level/BTEC grades is permissible;
  • Submit your UCAS application to a full-time undergraduate degree or full-time foundation degree (excluding pre-registration health and social care courses with tuition fees paid by the Department of Health or NHS) and accept the offer of a place at Edge Hill University.

In addition to the above, the following eligibility criteria also apply:

  • The High Achievers Scholarship is open to Edge Hill University applicants domiciled in the UK, EU, Isle of Man or Channel Islands.

Offered Benefits

Scholarship Amount £1,000 paid in two equal instalments during the first year of study.
