The HealthTech Hub Africa is a hybrid pan-African healthtech accelerator, with a physical co-working and community space in Kigali, Rwanda, working to drive development of health technologies in Africa and fast-track these innovations in public health systems through collaboration with government partners and funders of global health.
By doing so, the HealthTech Hub Africa aims to support African governments in tackling their largest health challenges, particularly those faced by low-income and underserved populations.
The program concentrates on four critical health domains:
- Cardiovascular Health: Aiming to reduce cardiovascular disease deaths through improved screening, referral, diagnosis, and management.
- Breast Cancer: Focusing on reducing breast cancer mortality through enhanced healthcare practices.
- Virtual Health and Care: Improving access, quality, and digital literacy in healthcare through remote delivery services.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Enhancing health system capabilities and preparedness for epidemics with integrated health information.
