The School is pleased to invite applications from outstanding candidates for its Masters Scholarships (taught or research) for 2017-2018 entry. International students are eligible to apply.

The University of Edinburgh, founded in 1582, is the sixth oldest university in the English-speaking world and one of Scotland’s ancient universities.

Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, a UK first-class honours degree or the overseas equivalent of in a relevant field.

HCA Masters Scholarships at University of Edinburgh in UK, 2017-2018 Established in 1583, The University of Edinburgh is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Edinburgh (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Scotland. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, The University of Edinburgh is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 40,000-44,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Eligibility Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded to students who are accepted for admission on a Masters programme of study offered by the School of History, Classics and Archaeology.

Offered Benefits

These MSc studentships with a value of up to £7,000 per annum, will be payable in monthly instalments. Awards will be paid pro-rata for part-time candidates. Awardees are responsible for paying their tuition fees, which are not covered as part of this award, to the University.

Application Process

Please note you must have completed your admission application in full including all supporting documentation by 30th January 2017. Eligible applicants should complete an online application. The closing date for the scholarship application is 6th February 2017. Please note you will not be able to access the online application form unless you have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh. The online scholarship application form is located in EUCLID and can be accessed via MyEd our web based information portal.
