Hatfield Lioness funding for Women from Developing Countries at University of Durham, UK for Master Founded in 1832, Durham University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Durham (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), North East England.   • Full payment of University tuition fees
  • Stipend for living expenses – 12 monthly payments
  • One return economy air ticket from the home country to the UK, and the cost of return travel between the UK airport and Durham City

  • ‘Settling in allowance’ on arrival
  • Cost of UK visa and the UK Health surcharge

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To apply for the grant, applicants are advised to take admission in the master’s degree programmes at the university. After being enrolled, they should apply through this Application form.
  • Supporting Documents: To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the previous transcripts at the university.
  • Admission Requirements: Claimants have to meet the admission requirements of the university.
  • Language Requirement: Students have to provide evidence of English language proficiency by providing the TOEFL or IELTS test scores.
