The educational programme aims to attract international and domestic students who want to apply for the Non- EU/EEA students at HAN University of Applied Sciences.

The HAN University of Applied Sciences is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands ranked 20th in the nation. It aims to qualify, socialize and prepare students for their future professional practice and citizenship.

HAN University of Applied Sciences Honours Scholarships for EU/EEA Students in Netherlands for Course Established in 1996, Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN University of Applied Sciences) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Arnhem (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Gelderland. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Nijmegen. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Nederlands-Vlaamse Accreditatieorganisatie (Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders), Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All Non-EU/EEA country students are eligible to apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Bachelor or master programme offered at HAN is eligible to apply for.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must have not previously received a scholarship in the first semester of the applied programme.

Offered Benefits

The selected applicants will be provided a sum of € 2,500 for the second semester of the programme undertaken at HAN.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: In order to apply for this funding programme, students must take admission in a Bachelor or Master programs at the university. After being enrolled, they will complete an online application form for this scholarship.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Certificate of secondary education
  • Relevant bachelor degree certificate
  • Other course-specific documents
  • Admission Requirements: Students must possess a high school graduation degree or a relevant bachelor’s degree qualification.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • TOEFL iBT score of ? 80 – 90 or higher
  • IELTS score of 6.0 – 6.5 or higher
  • Cambridge FCE Grade C minimum score 169 or Cambridge FCE Grade B minimum score 176
