Haafid Academy is founded to teach Quran, Islamic studies and the Somali language to the Somali youth living outside of Somalia. With this scholarship we would like to offer free scholarship to the Somali orphans who are not able to pay our online classes. It is the goal of our school to educate up to 20 orphans every calendar year.

  • Haafid Academy is an Islamic online academy for teaching Qur’an, Somali language, Arabic, and Islamic studies. It is part of our policy to educate underprivileged students.
  • Students who live outside of Somalia who would like to learn at Haafid Academy are welcome to apply. To be eligible, candidates must be between 12 and 30 years of age.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be between the ages of 12-30
  • The applicant must be an orphan and living outside of Somalia.
  • The applicant must provide 3 references for good behavior.

Application Process

You can enter by contributing your original work including:

  • Write a 500-word essay that discusses what you would like to achieve after you study at Haafid Academy.
  • Letter from your parent or guardian if you are under 18 years old.
  • 3 references of good behavior.
