The University of Leicester is thrilled to announce the GSC High Achiever’s International Awards for international students in the UK. The funding programme is open for the academic year 2021/2022.

This educational award is available for International (non-EU) students who wish to enter a full-time, campus-based, undergraduate degree at the University of Leicester in September 2021.

GSC High Achiever’s International Awards in the UK for Bachelor Established in 1957, University of Leicester is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Leicester (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), East Midlands. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Leicester is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Leicester offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 62 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

The University of Leicester will provide an award amount of £2,500 to the winning candidates.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: For applying, candidates first select an eligible program and submit an application to study at the university. After receiving an offer, they will be automatically considered.
  • Supporting Documents: Applicants must submit academic qualifications, transcripts, Personal statement/research proposal, and two completed references.
  • Admission Requirements: Students who achieve higher level grades will receive the award.
  • Language Requirement:  Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language requirements in order to be able to study at the university.
