Applications are now open for the Greg Benjamin WAAPA Music Equity Scholarship, designed to support passionate music students at Edith Cowan University’s WAAPA who are experiencing financial hardship. Valued at $10,000 for one year ($5,000 per semester), the scholarship is open to domestic and international students enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Music Honours program.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Music Honours at WAAPA, maintain an academic progression status of GREEN, and demonstrate financial hardship.

Application Process
Applications must be submitted via the ECU Online Scholarship Application Portal, accessible between the opening and closing dates (1 August 2025 – 30 August 2025). Applicants must provide a personal statement (maximum 500 words) describing their current financial and personal circumstances and how the scholarship would benefit them.
