Tuition fees for research studies can be challenging to arrange. Therefore, the University of Exeter is happy to announce the Green Futures Postgraduate Taught International Scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023.

This study award is available for brilliant students from Low and Middle-Income countries who will enroll in postgraduate degree at the university.

Green Futures Postgraduate Taught International Scholarships in UK for Master Established in 1955, University of Exeter is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Exeter (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), South West England. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Exeter is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Exeter offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 64 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Candidates from Low and Middle-Income Countries
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Scholarships are available for one-year, full-time, campus-based Postgraduate taught degrees as follows:
  • The Business School
  • College of Engineering, Mathematics, and Physical Sciences
  • College of Humanities
  • College of Life and Environmental Sciences
  • College of Medicine and Health
  • College of Social Sciences and International Studies
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Are classified as international students for fees purposes
  • Are a citizen/passport holder of a Low or Middle Income Country(eligible countries appear in the first three columns)
  • Already hold an offer to study an eligible Masters program from the table above at the University of Exeter in the 2022/23 academic year; and

The University of Exeter will provide a full tuition fee waiver and stipend for living costs to the successful candidates.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: For empowering with this educational award, students need to take admission in the PhD degree coursework at the university. After that, they can complete the online application form for this award.
  • Supporting Documents: Students must submit a CV, letter of application, transcript(s), and names of two referees. A personal statement (500-word maximum) is required as part of the form, responding to the following questions:
  • What is your interest in your chosen programme of study, and how is this relevant to a Green Future in your home country?
  • How have you pursued this interest so far – as an individual and with others – in support of your home country’s development efforts/sustainable initiatives and projects?
  • What are you hoping to gain and to contribute during your study at the University of Exeter, and how will a Green Futures Scholarship support this?
  • What are your ambitions for after you graduate, and how will you stay connected to the University of Exeter
  • Admission Requirements: For being admitted to the university, aspirants have to meet the admission requirements of the university.
  • Language Requirement: If English is not your first language, you will need to have achieved at least 6.5 in IELTS and no less than 6.0 in any section by the start of the project.
