Green Foreign Policy Fellowship in Greece

Eligibility Criteria

• Eligible Countries: Open to applicants from all countries and regions

• Acceptable Course or Subjects: The fellowship supports individuals working on issues such as:

  • Foreign & security policy from a progressive/green lens

  • International Relations theory, climate diplomacy, human security

  • Feminist foreign policy, decolonial approaches to trade/resources

  • Human rights, peace and security agendas, global justice

• Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be recent graduates (Bachelor’s in International Relations or Political Science), PhD students, PhD holders, or experienced practitioners

  • Demonstrate an active interest in developing and promoting green foreign and security policy

  • Possess strong written and verbal English skills

  • Be able to commit to producing original material during the first half of the fellowship and engage in presentation/networking activities in the second half

  • Submit a complete application (CV in Europass format, motivation letter, and a 2-page concept note)

Offered Benefits

• Stipend: €6,000 gross, paid in instalments during the first semester

2. Motivation Letter: Max. 300 words explaining your interest using examples

3. Concept Note: Max. 2 pages outlining a challenge in green foreign/security policy, how you plan to address it, and concrete steps
