British University Vietnam (BUV) is proud to announce the Global Pathfinder’s Scholarship for outstanding international students. This scholarship offers exceptional academic performers up to 100% tuition fee coverage for undergraduate or postgraduate studies.

The study program is open to international students from eligible regions. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence, with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) and a strong GPA. Gold and Silver awards are available for students from ASEAN (excluding Vietnam), India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, North America, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and Europe, while the Bronze award is open to all international applicants. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Gold/Silver Awards: ASEAN (excluding Vietnam), India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, North America, Australia, New Zealand, UK, and Europe.
  • Bronze Award: All international passport holders.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship applies to any undergraduate or postgraduate program offered at BUV.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
    1. Hold a valid passport from an eligible region.
    2. Be a strong academic performer with:
      • Minimum IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent).
      • High GPA scores.
    3. Provide a scholarship motivation letter (maximum 400 words) detailing their passion for cultural exploration and the impact they wish to create.
    4. Pay the application fee during the submission process.

Offered Benefits

  • Gold Award: 100% tuition fee coverage.
  • Silver Award: 50% tuition fee coverage.
  • Bronze Award: 25% tuition fee coverage.
  • Additional Notes: Scholarships cover tuition fees only; applicants are responsible for living expenses, estimated at $4,000–$8,000 USD annually, as well as costs for flights and visas.

Application Process

  1. Step 1: Information Gathering
    • Review eligibility and requirements carefully.
  2. Step 2: Scholarship Application
    Between 1 January and 30 June 2025, submit an application including:

    • A scholarship motivation letter (maximum 400 words).
    • Evidence of academic excellence (e.g., IELTS scores, GPA documentation).
    • Any additional documentation requested by BUV’s International Student Recruitment team.
  3. Step 3: Assessment and Scholarship Awarding
    • Applications will be reviewed, and awards will be announced to selected scholars.

To apply for this award, applicants must take admission in an undergraduate and postgraduate degree at the university.  Submit a completed online application, including all required admissions documentation, by 30 June 2025.
