Applications are now open for the Global Impact Masters Scholarships 2026/2027 at the University of York. Designed to support exceptional international students, the scholarship provides £5,000–£8,000 in financial aid for the first year of postgraduate study.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must have a conditional or unconditional offer to study a full-time postgraduate taught course at the University of York by 31 August 2026 and be paying fees at the overseas rate. The scholarship is open to students from eligible countries across Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

Offered Benefits
Students from the USA or Canada will receive £5,000.
Students from India, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, or Türkiye will receive £6,000.
Students from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, or Egypt will receive £8,000.
This scholarship provides valuable financial support towards tuition fees, enabling international students to pursue their postgraduate studies at one of the UK’s leading universities.
Application Process
No formal application is required. All eligible postgraduate taught students holding an offer at York will be automatically considered for the Global Impact Masters Scholarship once the awards begin.
