Georgian Journalists Scholarship


The Georgian government decided to grant this scholarship to Georgian journalists and number of scholarships depends on students’ qualification and on how they meet university requirements for admission.

Scholarships are available for the following courses:

  • Radio Nederland Training Center (RNTC) in Hilversum (2 courses):

  • International Course Broadcast Journalism (Radio & Internet - Television & Internet) - (Dis)covering Diversity.

  • International Course Soaps and Society: making broadcast drama for development (Radio - Television)

  • Hogeschool Utrecht, University of Applied Sciences (2 courses)

  • European Culture and European Journalism (Faculty of Communication and Journalism)

  • Europe in the World (Faculty of Communication and Journalism)

  • Erasmus University Rotterdam (1 course)

  • MA in Media and Journalism/Specialization Media, Culture and Society (Faculty of History and Arts)

  • Webster University in Leiden (1 course)

  • MA in Communications Management (Department of Media Communications)

Georgian Journalists Scholarship Established in 1913, Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam (Erasmus University Rotterdam) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized city of Rotterdam (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), South Holland. Eligibility Criteria

The minimal requirement for Georgian journalists is to hold a Bachelor's degree and have good command of English.
