For the sixth year in a row, GEO’s editorial team is offering the GEO Young Reporter Fellowship. Recognized for the excellence of its journalism in the field for nearly 45 years, the title supports the new generation of journalists and photojournalists through this competition. The winner will have their work published in GEO thanks to funding for their reporting and mentoring by the magazine’s editorial team.
The jury, which brings together GEO’s editor-in-chief and editorial representatives, as well as leading reporters, will study in February the projects that fall within the editorial line of the title. That is to say, dealing in particular with the discovery of new territories, the environment, different cultures and societies, and are the most likely to enrich readers. The project with the most votes wins the grant.
