The British Society for Haematology (BSH) is inviting applications for the Genomics Grant. The award program will cover up to £10,000 to support research or service development projects focused on genomics in haematology. Open to BSH members with at least one year of membership, the grant is available for projects conducted at UK institutions.

To be eligible for the grant, applicants must be current members of the British Society for Haematology for at least one year. The proposed project must be directly related to the application of genomics within haematology and conducted at a UK-based institution. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities (provided applicant is a BSH member and the project is UK-based)

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The grant will support projects directly relevant to the application of genomics within haematology.

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

    • Be a current BSH member for at least one year.

    • Undertake the project at a UK institution.

    • Provide a clear project plan, timeline, and justification for seeking BSH funding.

    • Submit a detailed budget and proof of any necessary ethical approvals.

    • Include previous research experience, a short CV, and a letter of support from a supervisor or Head of Service.

    • Agree to submit a project report within 3 years of the award and present findings at the BSH Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM).
