The Department of Civil, Environmental & Geomatic Engineering is offering a 4-year Fully funded PhD Studentship in Pioneering Active EMI Filters With AI For Sustainable Automotive Systems. The studentship covers international fees and provides a tax-free stipend (£22,750 per annum, Year 1).
Eligibility for this PhD studentship requires applicants to hold a first-class or high 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Candidates should have a strong background in areas such as electromagnetic compatibility, power electronics, or AI/machine learning, along with proficiency in programming tools like Python, MATLAB, Simulink, or C++.
