Fully Funded PhD Scholarships in Next Generation Habitat Suitability Modelling, UK Established in 1920, Swansea University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Swansea (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Wales. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Swansea University is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Swansea University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 99 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: UK and EU
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: PhD degree in Next Generation Habitat Suitability Modelling For Policy Decision-Making
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, Candidates must normally hold an undergraduate degree at 2.1 level in Biosciences or a related subject, or a master’s degree with a minimum overall grade at ‘Merit’ (or Non-UK equivalent as defined by Swansea University).

Offered Benefits

Swansea University will provide a scholarship that covers the full cost of UK tuition fees and an annual stipend of £15,609.

  • How to Apply: In order to apply for this funding, the student must have to take admission in the  PhD degree programme at the university. After that, applicants can complete the online application form for this grant.
  • Supporting Documents: Candidates must submit the following:
  • Letter of motivation
  • CV (with details of two references)
  • Evidence of meeting English Language requirement
  • Admission Requirements: The candidate must have a previous degree certificate with excellent marks.
