The project explores the links between carbon and biodiversity across above- and belowground systems to enhance restoration outcomes. The scholarship offers $35,188 per year for three years, with additional project support and potential top-up funding.
Applicants must be Australian citizens, permanent residents, or New Zealand citizens eligible to enrol full-time in a PhD program starting in early 2026. They should have a strong academic background in ecology, conservation, or related environmental sciences, with skills in statistical analysis and scientific computing (e.g., R).
