The eligibility for the PhD Research Scholar positions at NHH Norwegian School of Economics requires applicants to have normally completed a five-year Master of Science (MSc) degree or equivalent in Economics and Business Administration or a related field such as Social Sciences, Psychology, Philosophy, Mathematics, Management, or Law.

Fully funded PhD Research Scholar Positions in ENERPOL Doctoral Network, Norway Founded in 1936, Norges Handelshøyskole (Norwegian School of Economics) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Bergen (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Hordaland. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Kunnskapsdepartementet, Norge (Ministry of Education, Norway), Norges Handelshøyskole (NHH) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 2,000-2,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to candidates of all nationalities (subject to the MSCA mobility rule, meaning applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Norway for more than 12 months in the three years preceding recruitment).

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in Business Economics or Management Science within the PhD specialisation at NHH.

  • Admissible Criteria:

    • Must hold a relevant master’s degree in economics, business, management, or a related field.

    • Must satisfy NHH’s general requirements for the PhD programme.

    • Must show strong analytical and quantitative skills.

    • Must meet MSCA Doctoral Network eligibility requirements (including mobility and early-stage researcher rules).

    • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
