Wageningen University is excited to announce a fully funded PhD Position in “Multi-scale Water Quality Modeling for Climate Resilient Wastewater Management.” This interdisciplinary research project aims to revolutionize wastewater management systems by addressing the impacts of socio-economic changes and climate extremes on sewage flows and treatment in urban and rural settings.
The project also seeks to understand the interactions between wastewater management for agriculture and domestic wastewater management, crucial for ensuring effective wastewater treatment strategies. The gross salary for the first year is € 2.770 – per month rising to € 3.539,- in the fourth year in according to the Collective Labour Agreements for Dutch Universities (CAO-NU) (scale P). This is based on a full-time working week of 38 hours.
