The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) invites applicants to apply for a Fully funded PhD Position in Microbial Physiology and Resource Biorecovery Laboratory (MICROBE). The project focuses on the ecology of methane-oxidizing bacteria and their role in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions.
Applicants must hold a master’s degree in environmental engineering, microbiology, chemical engineering, or a related field. They should have research experience, strong English communication skills, and the ability to work in an international, collaborative environment. Prior experience in bioinformatics is an advantage.
