Wageningen University & Research is offering a Fully funded PhD Position in Evaporation-driven self-assembly at fluid-fluid interfaces, starting in 2025. The project focuses on exploring the fundamental mechanisms of evaporation-driven interfacial self-assembly using advanced microscopy, microfluidics, colloidal synthesis, and mathematical modeling.
Eligibility for this PhD position requires applicants to hold a completed MSc (or equivalent) in physics, molecular life sciences, mechanical or chemical engineering, or a closely related field. Candidates should have strong skills in experimental techniques, mathematical modeling, and a solid background in fluid mechanics and soft matter physics.
