Fully-funded IGPP PhD Scholarships at University of Warwick, UK Founded in 1965, The University of Warwick is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Coventry (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), West Midlands. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, The University of Warwick is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. The University of Warwick offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Home and International students are eligible to apply.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded to the Department of Mathematics in PhD following subjects offered by the university.

  • PhD in Public Health (Mathematical Epidemiology)
  • PhD in Public Health (Pathogen Diagnostics)
  • PhD in Public Health (Pandemic Response Planning)
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Students will be expected to meet Warwick’s general entry requirements.
  • These include at least an upper second-class UK honors degree or international equivalent, evidence of English language capability, and two strong academic references.

The University of Warwick will provide the studentships funded to cover a student stipend (was £17,668 in 2022/23), university fees (national or international level), and a Research and Training Support Grant of £1,250 per academic year. Additional funds will be available to support laboratory costs (up to £10,000) for students involved in laboratory work.
