This PhD will focus on the manufacturing of electrolytes for solid-state batteries within the battery storage team, which is part of the SPECIFIC IKC at Swansea University. Solid state batteries have the potential to be longer-lasting, faster charging, and safer than conventional liquid state batteries, and this is an important area of research to support renewables to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
