The University of Sussex is offering scholarships in the form of full fee waivers. These scholarships are awarded to suitably qualified and motivated individuals to study PhD programme in the School of Law Politics and Sociology.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and motivated individuals to take up new PhD studentship opportunities in the School of Law Politics and Sociology.

The goal is to deliver teaching and learning programmes that are informed by current research are attractive to students from all socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, and which deliver skills for life.

Full Fee Waivers PhD Scholarships at University of Sussex in UK, 2017 Established in 1961, University of Sussex is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the large town of Brighton (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), South East England. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Sussex is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Sussex offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

Entry requirements for UK and international students are:

  • At least an upper second-class (2:1) undergraduate honours degree or equivalent international qualification
  • A Masters degree if you are applying for research degrees in the arts or social sciences, or an equivalent international qualification.

Offered Benefits

Scholarships, in the form of full fee waivers, are available from September 2017 for a period of three years. There may also be an exceptional stipend of approximately £14,500 awarded to the best PhD applicant in the School.

Application Process

Applications must submit a complete online application for a place to study for a PhD based in the School of Law, Politics and Sociology. LPS scholarship form must be sent via email only.
