The U.S. Department of Education invites applications for the Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) Program. This prestigious fellowship supports doctoral students conducting research in modern foreign languages and area studies in countries outside of Western Europe.

Eligibility for the scholarship is open to U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents enrolled in doctoral programs at accredited U.S. institutions.
