The Friends of Canadian Simmental Foundation is pleased to announce that they will be awarding the following scholarships in the 2025 – 2026 academic year to promising students pursuing a degree or certificate at an accredited institution. The Friends of Canadian Simmental Foundation recognizes the importance of supporting youth in agriculture and their goals of advanced education. The Foundation’s commitment to youth development is demonstrated through scholarships amounting to $15,000 annually.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Application is used for both the Friends of Canadian Simmental Foundation Scholarship and the Trevor Vance Memorial Scholarship.
  2. Open to all youth involved in the beef cattle industry who are attending a post-secondary institution in the application year.
  3. Available to students pursuing post-secondary education and recognized scholastic achievement.
  4. Applicants must be Canadian citizens.
  5. You may only apply for scholarships not previously awarded from the Foundation and a maximum of 2 FCSF scholarships/bursaries in your lifetime.
  6. Application deadline: SEPTEMBER 30th of the current year.
  7. Previous applicants not chosen as recipients may re-apply
