Freshman Honor Scholarships at University of Central Oklahoma, USA for Bachelor Established in 1890, University of Central Oklahoma is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Edmond (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Oklahoma. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Higher Learning Commission, University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 128 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades.   • Eligible Course or Subjects: Undergraduate degree programme in any subject offered by the university.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • Must be an international students
  • Must be Incoming first-year students with a minimum 3.25 GPA or SAT 1250 or ACT26

The University of Central Oklahoma will provide an award amount of $4,000 per year to the successful students for the academic session 2022/2023.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To apply, applicants must have to take the admission via application portal in the undergraduate degree program at the university. There is no separate application for this award.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Official academic credentials
  • Proof of English Proficiency
  • Bank statement
  • Statement of financial sponsorship;
  • Proof of high school graduation
  • Passport or national identification document
  • Admission Requirements: For taking admission, students must have to check the  entry requirements of an undergraduate degree at the university.
  • Language Requirement: Submit one of the following to satisfy the requirement:
  • TOEFL – 61 IBT (Internet-based test) or 500 PBT (paper-based test);
  • IELTS – 5.5 overall
  • Duolingo – 85;
  • PTE Academic – 42; or,
  • Proof of 12 weeks of intensive English study at an approved ESL program in the U.S. after achieving a minimum TOEFL score of 460 (PBT) or 48 (IBT) or minimum IELTS overall band of 5.0 or Duolingo of 80 or PTE Academic of 36.
