The Okanagan Branch of Engineers and Geoscientists BC has established this scholarship specifically to support fourth year students in Engineering and Geoscience at the Okanagan Campus of The University of British Columbia in Kelowna, BC. The applications will be adjudicated based on the applicant’s motivation for career selection, leadership and community involvement, professionalism and ethics, and academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students registered in their fourth year in the Faculty of Applied Science (Engineering), or the Irving K. Barber School of Arts and Science, with a major in Earth & Environmental Science (Geoscience), at UBC’s Okanagan Campus in Kelowna, BC.
  • Canadian citizens, permanent residence and international students are eligible to apply.

One scholarship per year, valued at $2,500.

    • An unofficial post-secondary transcript(s) relevant to their current program of study
    • A filled application form
  • References may be contacted by the adjudication committee and asked to confirm their input in the student’s application package.
