Applications are welcome from all interested and qualified applicants for the Kareem Alao scholarship.

It opens doors to opportunities, empowers individuals, and drives progress. However, the cost of education can be a significant barrier for many students, especially in developing countries like Nigeria.

Recognizing this challenge, the Forum for Oke Ogun Progress (FFOP) has partnered with Pa Kareem Alao Educational Support Scheme to establish the Kareem Alao Educational Scholarship.

This scholarship program aims to provide financial support to indigent undergraduate students of Nigerian universities, offering them a chance to pursue their dreams and build a brighter future.

The Kareem Alao Educational Scholarship is sponsored by the Forum for Oke Ogun Progress in conjunction with Pa Kareem Alao Educational Support Scheme for all indigenous students of Oke-Ogun origin studying in Nigerian universities.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Currently be in his/her first year of full-time study in a Government-owned Universities in Nigeria.
  • Have a minimum target of Second Class Upper Credit (3.5 CGPA) and above.
  • Pass the FFOP Aptitude Test
  • Score at least 250 in the UTME.
  • Be of good character and morals.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities.

Offered Benefits

The Kareem Alao Educational Scholarship is worth N50,000.00 in educational support for successful applicants.

Application Process

Required Documents:

Eligible candidates are required to provide;

  • Personal details,
  • Evidence of Oke Ogun origin (Local Government Identification), and
  • A valid ID number (NIN, Voter’s ID, or Passport Number).

Additionally, applicants are expected to submit an essay as part of their application.
