Florida Poly Financial Aid for Bachelor


It is our pleasure to offer STEM education scholarships via the Florida Poly Financial Aid Scholarship to all of our full-time students starting in the 2015-2016 academic year. Scholarships for STEM education amounts will vary from student to student.

Eligibility Criteria

Freshman
  • Students must be full time each Fall and Spring Semester
  • Undergraduates must attempt at least 30 credit hours each Financial Aid Year.
  • Students must complete 67% of classes attempted with a passing grade for the 2015-2016 Financial Aid Year, and must complete 80% of classes attempted with a passing grade during each Financial Aid Year thereafter.
  • Students must maintain a GPA of 2.50 for the 2015-2016 Financial Aid Year, and must maintain a GPA of 2.75 during each Financial Aid Year thereafter.
  • All financial obligations to Florida Poly must be paid in full before the start of the next Financial Aid Year.
  • Students must not have any Florida Poly Code of Conduct Violations (Academic and Non-Academic) resulting in suspension or expulsion.
Sophomore, Junior, Senior
  • Students must be full time each Fall and Spring Semester
  • Undergraduates must attempt at least 30 credit hours each Financial Aid Year.
  • Students must complete 80% of classes attempted with a passing grade.
  • Students must maintain a GPA of 2.75.
  • All financial obligations to Florida Poly must be paid in full before the start of the next Financial Aid Year.
  • Students must not have any Florida Poly Code of Conduct Violations (Academic and Non-Academic) resulting in suspension or expulsion.

Offered Benefits

Based on the student’s academic achievements, the STEM scholarship can range from $1,000 to $16,000 each Financial Aid Year, for four years. The ranges are as follows:

  • Poly Scholarship – $1,000-$4,000

  • Provost’s Scholarship – $5,000-$8,000

  • President’s Scholarship – $9,000-$16,000

Below you will find the eligibility requirements for the STEM scholarships, as well as renewal criteria for the following Financial Aid Year. For the purposes of these scholarships, the Financial Aid Year runs from the beginning of the fall semester until the end of the summer semester.
