Florida International University (FIU) is excited to announce the 2024-2025 Writing Fellows Program! This unique opportunity is designed for advanced doctoral students looking to enhance their writing and leadership skills. Selected fellows will receive $1,500 per semester and specialized training from FIU’s Writing Across Curriculum (WAC) program.

Applicants must be advanced doctoral students who have achieved candidacy by January 2025 and have at least two semesters remaining until graduation. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to all nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded to doctoral candidates across various disciplines at FIU.
  • Admissible Criteria:
    • Must have achieved candidacy by the start of the program in January 2025, with at least two semesters remaining until graduation.
    • Must be in good academic standing.
    • Must be a full-time enrolled student at FIU.
    • Remote students are not eligible.

Selection Criteria

  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in the program’s objectives.
  • Availability to begin in Spring 2025 semester.
