First-Year Doctoral International Fellowships in USA for PhD Founded in 1892, University of Rhode Island is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small town of Kingston (population range of 2,500-9,999 inhabitants), Rhode Island.   • A copy of the nominee’s admission application
  • Admission Requirements:  The applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the United States or a foreign institution of acceptable standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. 
  • Language Requirement:  The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • IELTS – 6.5 

Offered Benefits

The University of Rhode Island will be providing the selected candidate’s full tuition scholarships for two consecutive years for the fall and spring semesters, remission of graduate standard student fees (registration fee, health services fee, technology fee, student services fee), health and dental insurance, and a stipend of $37,000 in three installments.
