Aston University is excited to announce the Ferguson scholarships for September 2026. This Scholarship is for students that wants to study with them or need financial aid to pursue their studies.
These scholarships are supported by the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust who are dedicated to improving educational opportunities for students who would not otherwise be able to consider studying in the UK.

Established in 1895, Aston University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Birmingham (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), West Midlands. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Aston University is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Aston University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 124 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
Eligibility Criteria
- You must hold a conditional or unconditional offer for one of the courses listed
- Be a national from India or an African country
- Hold a 2:1 degree or equivalent in a relevant subject for the course you are applying for
- Be a self-funded student.
- No agency referred candidates would be eligible.
If successful, note you will be required to provide evidence to the UKVI that you can fully contribute to your living costs
