FAO Scholarships for International Students, 2024-2025 for Course Established in 2000, Szent István Egyetem (Szent István University) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the medium-sized town of Gödöllö (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Pest. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Budapest, Szarvas, Beregszász, Csíkszereda, Zenta, Komárom. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Magyar Felsooktatási Akkreditációs Bizottság (Hungarian Accreditation Committee), Szent István Egyetem (SZIE) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Szent István Egyetem (SZIE) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.   • Eligible Countries: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Angola, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lebanon, North Macedonia, Madagascar, Mali, Myanmar, Republic of Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Namibia, Nigeria, North Korea, Palestine, the Philippines, Republic of Cabo Verde, Serbia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Yemen.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Master of Science degree courses in Crop Production Engineering and Horticultural Engineering.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria: Citizenship and residency of one of the eligible countries, excellent school achievements, English language proficiency, motivation, good health, age preference for candidates under 30.
