A scholarship of $1,000 is awarded to an entering, continuing or transferring Indigenous undergraduate or graduate student from the Huu-ay-aht First Nation. The student must have demonstrated community involvement and must submit a letter of reference (maximum 400 words) outlining their leadership skills in one or more of the following areas: community involvement, leadership, academic performance, athletics, innovation, and creativity. Community can include schools, neighbourhoods, teams, and/or Nations. In the event that a member of the Huu-ay-aht First Nation does not apply for the scholarship, it will be awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student from one of the Nuu-chah-nulth nations with connections to the Huu-ay-aht First Nation.

Fanny Williams Huu-ay-aht First Nation Scholarship at UVIC 2025-2026 for Bachelor Established in 1997, Universitat de Vic - Universitat Central de Catalunya (University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia) is a non-profit public private partnership higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized town of Vic (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Catalonia. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Manresa, Granollers.
