Oxford Brookes University is pleased to offer a full-time PhD Studentship in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, starting in September 2017. Studentships are open to both Home/EU and international students.

Oxford Brookes University is a new university in Oxford, England. It can trace its origins to 1865 when the former Oxford School of Art was established. The university was renamed in 1992 to honour its former principal, John Henry Brookes.

Eligibility Criteria

University is looking to recruit a candidate of the highest quality and who is capable of submitting a PhD thesis within 3 years. Applicants are expected to have completed a relevant Masters degree prior to the Studentship start date. The Studentship holder may also be required to complete supplementary research methods training in their first year of study.

Offered Benefits

The successful candidate will receive an annual payment of £16,000 as a stipend towards living expenses for a maximum of three years.
