F.A. Davis is now accepting applications for the Scholarship, offering four awards of $1,000 each to outstanding nursing and health science students in the U.S. and Canada. The scholarship supports those dedicated to shaping the future of healthcare.

Applicants must be current students pursuing a nursing or health science degree or certification such as LPN/LVN, RN, BSN, MSN, DNP, PT, OT, PA, or related fields. They must be enrolled for the 2025–2026 academic year, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and be citizens, legal residents, or valid student visa holders in the U.S. or Canada.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: United States and Canada
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any of the following health-related fields or comparable specialties:
    LPN/LVN, RN, BSN, RN-BSN, MSN, DNP, OT, OTA, OTD, PT, PTA, DPT, MLS, MLT, AT, MA, PA, CST, and Respiratory Therapy.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet all the following criteria:

  • Must be currently pursuing one of the listed nursing or health science degrees/certifications.

  • Must be enrolled for the upcoming academic year (2025–2026).

  • Must maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • Must be a student in good standing and a citizen, legal resident, or valid student visa holder in the U.S. or Canada.

Application Process

Applicants are required to:

  • Provide proof of enrollment, such as an enrollment verification letter, acceptance letter, course registration for the upcoming semester, or a screenshot of an unofficial transcript.
  • Submit a short essay (400–600 words) describing a unique experience or quality that inspired them to pursue a career in healthcare, and how they will use this scholarship to help “shape the future” of their chosen field.
  • Complete the online application form before the deadline of November 16th, 2025 (11:45 PM EST).
