Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to all foreign students living outside France at the time of application (French dual citizenship allowed).
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded to students enrolling in the Master Cancer programme under the InnovInOnco Graduate Programme, with specializations available in:
  • Cancer Biology
  • Therapeutic Innovations in Oncology
  • Cancer Bioengineering
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
  1. Be foreign students new to French universities.
  2. Have obtained a Bachelor’s degree or completed one year of a Master’s degree in oncology or related interdisciplinary fields (e.g., biosciences, biophysics, bioinformatics).
  3. Demonstrate excellence in academic achievements, research experience, and technical skills.
  4. Submit a strong motivation letter outlining their career goals and interest in the programme.

Required Documents:

  1. Proof of higher education diplomas (Bachelor or Master 1, 180 or 240 ECTS for European students).
  2. Curriculum Vitae (1 page).
  3. Motivation letter (1 page) explaining career goals, interest in the programme, and motivation for joining Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.
  4. Description of previous studies.
  5. Transcripts of academic records from the Bachelor’s degree onwards.
  6. Abstracts of prior work, if applicable (e.g., thesis, internship reports, scientific articles).
  7. Certificate of English proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, ECRL), except for native speakers.
  8. Copy of an official identity document.

Recommendation Letters:
One or two letters of recommendation must be sent separately by the referees to the above email addresses. These letters should be written by current or former professors, lecturers, or supervisors.
