Excellence Scholarships in Hamburg

International students and post-graduates at Hamburg university are invited to apply for the funding, which is worth up to EUR 650 and will be granted for 1 year. To be awarded a merit scholarship applicants must demonstrate good to excellent academic performance and be willing to devote 2 to 4 hours per week during the semester to the university's internationalisation projects. Eligible for funding are international students who have been studying for at least 2 semesters at Hamburg university and who are 29 years or younger at the time they pursue a Bachelor's, Master's or Magister degree, or, rather, 33 years or younger when they pursue a doctoral degree. Foreign nationals who qualify for assistance as per Federal Training Assistance Act (BAföG) § 8 are not eligible to apply.
