Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Commission for University Education, Kenya, University of Nairobi (UoN) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Nairobi (UoN) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 49 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 40-50% making this Kenyan higher education organization a averagely selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

The scholarship will:
- Provide you a living allowance and an insurance
- Contribute to your travel and visa expenses
- Cover your participation costs (e.g. tuition and registration fees)
- Contribute to your research expenses depending on the available budget
- Scholarship holders with disabilities can receive additional support.
Select and apply to a program at one of the host university (different from your home university or the university of which you have obtained your last degree)
