European Union Intra Africa Academic Mobility Scholarship 2025 for Master Established in 1970, University of Nairobi is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Nairobi (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Kikuyu, Parklands, Lower Kabete, Upper Kabete, Chiromo, Kisumu. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Commission for University Education, Kenya, University of Nairobi (UoN) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Nairobi (UoN) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 49 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 40-50% making this Kenyan higher education organization a averagely selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

Women of African nationality and resident in an African country, registered/admitted in or having obtained a degree from one of the GREEN-STEM African partners: University of Nairobi, University of Rwanda, University of Lagos and University of the Witswatersand

Women with specific needs or assistance are welcome and will be supported during their mobility.

Offered Benefits

The scholarship will: 

- Provide you a living allowance and an insurance  

- Contribute to your travel and visa expenses 

- Cover your participation costs (e.g. tuition and registration fees) 

- Contribute to your research expenses depending on the available budget 

- Scholarship holders with disabilities can receive additional support.
